We treat a variety of orthopedic, post-surgical, athletic injuries, and neuromuscular rehabilitation, as well as preventing secondary injuries. Our staff offers one-on-one service to patients of all ages with focus on active patient participation through exercise, home programs, and video analysis. We also have two Alter-G Anti-Gravity Treadmills. This treadmill provides up to 80% body weight support while walking or running. We also now have available Noraxon 3D and Video Motion Analysis with or without the use of Surface EMG. We look forward to having you in our newest facility.

DPT, Doctor of Physical Therapy
Alex Chan earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University Medical Center, where he specialized in advanced orthopedics and received the Marcia Ebert Award for Clinical Excellence. He is a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Alex Chan originally grew up in Ohio where he received a bachelor’s degree with a triple major in Finance, Marketing, and International Business. Following a short career in Commercial Banking, he decided to move to NYC to attend Columbia University’s Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program to pursue a career as a physical therapist. Alex Chan has a passion for working with running athletes. He has been an avid runner for more than a decade. Alex completed the 2015, 2016, and 2017 New York City Marathon, and he has also participated in races ranging in distance from the 5K to the ultramarathon. He utilizes his interests and specialized knowledge to treat common and complex running injuries.

Melissa earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in the Bay Area at Samuel Merritt University. Prior to graduate school, she attended the University of California, San Diego where she majored in Physiology and Neuroscience. She originally became interested in PT following her own injuries as a volleyball player in high school and college. She now specializes in sports and orthopedic injuries, and believes that every patient deserves a personalized physical therapy experience due to the unique nature of each person's condition. Her prior sports and dance background have helped her to treat an extensive and diverse variety of injuries of all ages. Outside of physical therapy, Melissa enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, eating, dancing, and playing sports. She loves to wander the streets of NYC and explore the unknown. She enjoys hearing patient's stories and believes that you can always have a little fun doing physical therapy.

Cynthia Roszkowski DPT, OCS, CKTP, earned her doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010 from Columbia University, where she completed the advanced orthopedic specialization track. Cynthia’s passion for learning and commitment to her patients lead to take numerous manual based clinical education course and achieve board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). She is also a certified Kinesio Tape Practitioner (CKTP). Cynthia has over 7 years of experience in an outpatient setting treating a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to older adults with various orthopedic and neurological conditions. She is dedicated to helping each patient achieve their potential through a whole body approach and by addressing the driver for their dysfunction. Cynthia draws upon her own lifelong love of exercise (ballet, piano, polish folk dancing, karate, boxing, muay thai, jui jitsu, pilates, weight lifting, spinning, yoga, and running) to understand the art of movement and the role that exercise plays in enhancing our vitality.
