PT, MSPT, OCS
Greg Doucette, MSPT, OCS, who started with Performance Physical Therapy in 2013, is a partner, physical therapist, and the clinic director at our East Providence location. Doucette has both an undergraduate degree in Health Science Studies (’04) and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy (’06) from Quinnipiac University. He is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, an American Physical Therapy Association member, and he is certified in functional dry needling. Doucette specializes in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, functional dry needling, post-operative and total joint rehabilitation, and rehabilitation of the knee, shoulder, and spine. With over 12 years of clinical experience, Doucette is passionate about patient education and the importance of core stability for sound functional movement.
Dr. Lauren Yuknis, DPT, has worked with Performance Physical Therapy since 2018 as a physical therapist at our East Providence location. She earned both a bachelor’s degree in Health and Science Studies and a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University. She is also a credentialed clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Yuknis specializes in orthopedics and post-surgical rehabilitation. As an avid runner, she particularly enjoys working with athletes. She has participated and volunteered at local road races over the years. In her graduate years at Quinnipiac University she conducted a research study at the Hartford Marathon, which was later published in the Journal of Sports Sciences.
Dr. Chelsea Sweetman, PT, DPT, has worked with Performance Physical Therapy since 2018 as a physical therapist position at the East Providence location. Hailing from Richmond, Rhode Island, Dr. Sweetman received an undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the University of New Hampshire and then headed back to RI to get a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Rhode Island. While at URI, she spent two weeks as a volunteer in Guatemala providing physical therapy service to youth. Dr. Sweetman specializes in general and post-surgical orthopedics, sports injuries and pediatrics.
PT, DPT, OCS
Dr. Joe Russolello, DPT, OCS, has worked with Performance Physical Therapy since 2013 and currently serves as a Physical Therapist and VP of Clinical Operations. He received his Bachelors in Health Science Studies from Quinnipiac University in 2008 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Boston University in 2012. Dr. Russolello has clinical expertise in general and post-surgical orthopedic rehabilitation, manual therapy, function dry needling, and sports fitness and injury prevention with an emphasis on golf. Dr. Russolello is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists and completed a residency in orthopedics through Evidence in Motion.
