Heidi graduated with honors from Columbia University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She began her career as a personal trainer in 2001, soon after becoming a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and Certified Pilates Instructor. With an interest in sports, she knows how important it is for someone to recover from an injury, so they can get back in the game. She is nationally ranked in USA women’s saber fencing and ranked 14th in Division 1 collegiate fencing. Her adoration of running motivated her to complete a half marathon in all five New York boroughs! Heidi’s enthusiasm for travel and interest in other cultures led her to Istanbul, Turkey for two years where she helped to open a fitness company and Pilates studio. While stateside, she enjoys hiking with her husband and dog, Cosette, and can be found somewhere in the Hudson Valley mountains.
