Doctorate of Physical Therapy
Meghan Forsatz received her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Rutgers University in 2006. She worked at an outpatient orthopedic clinic, Suburban Therapy Center from 2006-2013, where she attended weekly in services and developed her love of manual therapy. During that time, Meghan also instructed an exercise class, Fit 4 U, which focused on improving balance and strength in the geriatric population. In 2013, Meghan joined Nola Physical Therapy where she continues to hone her manual skills and utilizes continuing education classes to enhance patient treatment. She especially enjoys implementing techniques from The Institute of Physical Art, Brian Mulligan, and Washington University’s Movement System Impairment courses. Having a scoliosis herself, Meghan has always been interested in the most current treatment for scoliosis patients and became Schroth certified-Barcelona trained in May 2016. Most recently, Meghan attended the Eleventh Annual Sports Medicine Symposium at HSS. Also, Meghan has worked with a nutrition group in NYC where she developed and instructed exercise classes geared towards a safe return to exercise for individual’s recovery from eating disorders. Meghan grew up in New Jersey and is an avid local sports fan. She will always support Rutgers football, the New York Jets, the New York Yankees, and Seton Hall basketball.
