You do NOT need to be a gym member to see a Joint Ventures' practitioner in this 22,000 square foot fitness facility; 4 lane, shallow and deep (goes from 3 ft to 5 ft deep), salt-filtration pool kept at approximately 83 degrees; jacuzzi; full complement of cardiovascular and weight equipment; 3 large studio spaces for functional exercises and movements; patients can use towels, locker rooms, sauna and steam rooms, and fully appointed shower facilities; outdoor exercise space available; lobby/waiting room with free internet access, comfortable couches, and a television.
CLINICAL INTERESTS Orthopedic and sports injuries, running mechanics analysis and training, postural assessment/correction, overhead athletes, and injury prevention. Special clinical expertise in thoracic outlet syndrome. Expertise in analysis of movement and posture utilizing the Movement System Impairment approach. PERSONAL INTERESTS Outside of work, Ben can be found competing in Ultimate Frisbee, playing with his dogs, running, or cycling the city of Boston.
Jennifer graduated from University of Massachusetts-Lowell with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. Jenn loves treating orthopedic and sports injuries, especially those of the lower extremities and shoulder, as well as balance/gait abnormalities in patients of all ages. She utilizes manual techniques, functional strengthening, aquatic therapy, and various taping techniques. She is Graston provider and certified in Sole Supports orthotics.
Mary graduated from Arcadia University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and also received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Mary enjoys treating orthopedic work-related and sports-related injuries. She specializes in treating patients of all ages who have postural dysfunctions, acute or chronic pain, and overuse injuries. Mary adopts a holistic and comprehensive approach to treatment, incorporating manual therapy, ergonomics, postural correction, specific exercises, aquatic therapy (when indicated), and functional activities into her treatment sessions. She takes great joy in helping patients to achieve their goals and return to the activities they love.
