Dr. Cathy Campbell, PT, SCS has been in physical therapy as a patient, student, and clinician for over 20 years. She began in the field after a car accident injured her back and threatened a promising gymnastics career and fell in love with the patient centered approaches that her mentors demonstrated. Through working with her rehab team, she was able to continue her career in gymnastics to become a 2-time USAG All American and Ivy League Champion at Cornell University. After retirement, she went to Sacred Heart University to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Upon graduation, she continued to pursue work in sports and orthopedics, becoming one of less than 2000 Sports Clinical Specialists in the US. Through this, she has worked with amateur and professional athletes of all sports, including rugby, skiing, running, fencing, dance, and martial arts. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, and running the open spaces with her husband, two daughters, and two bull terriers.
