Vanessa graduated with her doctorate in physical therapy from the University St. Augustinein 2014 with honors. Prior to her physical therapy education Vanessa became a certified athletic trainer and received her bachelors in athletic training from California State University Fresno where she worked with multiple sports including football, baseball, softball and basketball.Vanessa specializes in vestibular therapy for the treatment of balance and dizziness disorders. Vanessa also treats multiple orthopedic pathologies including sports injuries, joint replacements, post-operative and joint dysfunctions. She uses a variety of techniques including manual therapy, joint mobilizations, therapeutic exercise, kinesiology tape, sport specific exercises and is Graston certified. Vanessa has taken continuing education courses in vestibular rehabilitation, cervical pathologies, sports injuries, shoulder pathologies and lumbar spine mobilizations.

Heather has been a physical therapist in the outpatient clinical setting for over 13 years. She graduated from the California State University in Sacramento in 2003 with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. She has been working as a PT in the outpatient setting in the area since then. Over the years, she has taken much hands-on coursework for the spine, extremities, therapeutic exercise, and functional rehabilitation. Her treatment philosophy is to treat as comprehensively as possible. Many factors contribute to dysfunction and as such, rehabilitation should include a variety of treatment approaches; manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, lifestyle modifications, and a teamwork approach to helping the patient achieve their goals. She has a particular interest in treating patients with vestibular dysfunction and dizziness disorders. She has taken several courses in vestibular rehabilitation and has had a lot of success in the clinic helping the patient manage or eliminate symptoms.
