Luis Maldonado has recently joined the Burger Rehab team in May 2017 by way of Chicago. He has been a physical therapist for 20 years. Luis’ experience has been spent entirely in the orthopedic outpatient setting and has been in private practice for the last 13 years. He brings extensive experience in the management, treatment and functional rehabilitation of soft tissue injuries as well as experience in marketing and management. Over the years Luis has taken numerous continuing education course, Mulligan, Gary Gray, McKenzie to name a few, allowing for a multifaceted approach to treatment. Luis takes great satisfaction in getting to know his patients and making a positive change in their lives. He enjoys hiking and spending time with his children.

Bari Gaymon

Bari received her Bachelors in Physical Therapy from California State University, Long Beach in 1991. Since graduating Bari has worked in skilled nursing, and orthopedics in the hospital and outpatient settings. For her continuing education she has taken courses in the areas including manual therapy for the spine, spine rehabilitation, running bio mechanics, and pre and post-surgical rehabilitation of musculoskeletal orthopedics injuries of spine, shoulders, hips, knees and ankles. Bari has worked at Burger Rehabilitation in Folsom since 2005.

Mark Hansberry

Mark received his Bachelors of Science in Physiotherapy from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland in 2007. He has spent the past 5 years working exclusively in the outpatient setting. Mark places a strong emphasis on educating the patient about their condition and providing self-management and lifestyle modification strategies where possible to aid recovery. He believes effective treatment is based upon an extensive evaluation of an individual's specific deficits. He also incorporates various manual techniques into his practice to treat joint and soft tissue dysfunction including Maitland, Mulligan, Graston and taping techniques. Mark has experience working with sports teams of all age groups.

Felicia Krieger

Felicia has been working in sports medicine for greater than 30 years as certified Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist. She received her MS in Sports Medicine in 1983 from Indiana State University, and a BS in Physical Therapy 1993 from the University of Connecticut. She has worked extensively with athletes in the HS and collegiate levels, and has spent her entire physical therapy career in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Felicia specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation of surgical and non-surgical diagnoses and sports injuries. She has taken numerous continuing education courses and is certified in Graston technique and Kinesiology taping.

Sarah Montgomery

Sarah has been a part of the Burger team since 2009. She holds her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and her Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Sacramento State University. As a former athlete, Sarah enjoys working with the athletic orthopedic population, but she also enjoys treatingpatents of all agesand activity levels. She has taken multiple continuing education coursesspecializingin Graston technique, Kinesiotaping techniques, joint mobilizations of the spine, total joint rehab, as well as focused studies on each body part. Sarah utilizes a diverse array of manual techniques, therapeutic exercise, andproprioceptivetraining to restorefunction in patients with musculoskeletal dysfunction.

David Plate

David is a Physical Therapist who has worked for Burger Rehabilitation for15 years, He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. He has taken numerous continuing education courses in Orthopedics, Neurological, Geriatrics, Pediatric, and post-surgical rehabilitation. He has also been trained in the Graston Technique.

Vanessa Stratigakes

Vanessa graduated with her doctorate in physical therapy from the University St. Augustinein 2014 with honors. Prior to her physical therapy education Vanessa became a certified athletic trainer and received her bachelors in athletic training from California State University Fresno where she worked with multiple sports including football, baseball, softball and basketball.Vanessa specializes in vestibular therapy for the treatment of balance and dizziness disorders. Vanessa also treats multiple orthopedic pathologies including sports injuries, joint replacements, post-operative and joint dysfunctions. She uses a variety of techniques including manual therapy, joint mobilizations, therapeutic exercise, kinesiology tape, sport specific exercises and is Graston certified. Vanessa has taken continuing education courses in vestibular rehabilitation, cervical pathologies, sports injuries, shoulder pathologies and lumbar spine mobilizations.
