That’s when he developed the Bespoke Treatments Physical Therapy model. Cameron received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from New York University. While working towards his doctorate, Cameron was also involved in research at Lehman College’s Human Performance Lab, where he studied optimal resistance training dosage for strength and hypertrophy responses. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Cameron was a strength and conditioning coach at UC San Diego, where he trained and coached athletes to win at both the state and national levels of competition. Cameron’s approach to treatment reflects his view that injury rehabilitation and athletic training lie on a continuum, and are governed by shared principles. He believes that the role of the therapist is to identify where the client is on this continuum, then guide them towards their goals through the best one on one care possible. His evaluations and treatments always follow an individualized and graded approach, and may include hands on care, resistance training, and motor re-training depending on the needs and goals of the client.
